How do I pair Beats Solo Pro to my Windows PC?

I keep pushing the mode button on the headphones and nothing happens. How do I know they are in pairing mode?

There is no booklet. Beats site is worthless. They simply take me to Apple support. I tried them and they have no idea how to fix the problem. I'm starting to believe my headphones are defective.
