Questionable Adobe Flash Player popup on my dock...

I recently received a popup from Adobe(?) telling me that "This program will remove Adobe Flash Player from your computer. The screen is has a black background with the red Adobe logo in the upper right corner, says Adobe Flash Player Install Manager on the top of the page, and gives me the two options of QUIT and UNINSTALL. is this malware or is this legit? Should I ignore and close the window? I am running OS Catalina 10.15.7 on a MacBook Pro Mid-2012.
