Apps not working on data
There’s a lot of memory in my new phone. But many apps are not supported by mobile data.

Did you mean that those apps cannot get on the internet while on Mobile data but work fine while on Wi-Fi? If YES then check your settings. Open Settings ➔ Cellular / Mobile Data : Here, scroll down and ensure that those apps have the data setting set to ON.
