Iphone bluetooth and applewatch

How to stop iphone searching for Apple watch whenever I turn on blue tooth? I don't have the watch any more and turned it in at Apple store for recycling

Go into Settings > Bluetooth.
Find the device you'd like to remove and tap the (i) icon next to it.
Tap Forget This Device.
Confirm you'd like to remove this device from your iPhone.
