Can't sign in to iCloud

Hi,

I've been trying my luck signing in to my iCloud account in my iPod Touch 6th generation but kept getting this error message, "Unable to sign in because of a problem communicating with iCloud," may I know why? I'm logged in to my iPad Air 2 and iPod Touch 5th generation.
