Syncing Apple Watch with Garmin Connect

Is there a way to automatically sync my Apple Watch activity data to Garmin Connect? I read a number of posts but they're a bit old now and wondering if this capability is now available.

It appears that you're wondering if your Apple Watch activity data will sync with your Garmin Connect, and we're glad to help with this.

Garmin Connect App Compatibility | Garmin Support -- At present, your Garmin Connect will only sync with your iPhone.

Use the Health app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support -- However, you can also add the data from the Garmin Connect app to the Health app of your iPhone.
