Spell Check Errors
My iPhone is correcting the word “for” to “fir” in all of my texts and emails. Is there a way to tell it to stop making this correction without completely turning off spell check?

Hello iPhone_User_Number_99,
We understand that when typing on your iPhone, the Auto-Correction feature will use the incorrect word.
This guide has more information about Auto-Correction.
One thing you can do is to select the correct spelling from the 3 predictive text options shown above the keyboard. If you just press the spacebar, the middle of the options will be selected. If this is not the correct spelling, select the one which is. After the correct option has been selected several times, you should begin to see "for" in the middle location so it is selected.
If that doesn't work, you can try adding in a text replacement with these steps to see if it helps.
See if that helps, and have a good rest of your day.
