Safety using echo dot. Is the echo dot safe to use? I have Apple devices - but was told by a friend that with her echo dot, her non-Apple device was hacked into and she had bad problems. Please advise.

I work in a long term care medical facility. They are prohibited as a matter of policy due to a lack of HIPAA compliance.
Your question has absolutely nothing to do with Apple or its products. Perhaps Amazon has a forum for such a question.

I do not use the Amazon Echo, but, if it has hacking going on, then why use it?
