iPad volume won’t stay on.

I slide it up from control center, but it immediately goes back down. Anyone know why? It’s an iPad Air, 2020.

Hi there, kerryfromlas cruces.

It appears that you're having a problem with your iPad volume. When you raise it in the Control Center, it immediately lowers back down to where it was, and we're glad to help with this.

Please test the issue if you apply any steps:

Adjust the volume on iPad - Apple Support -- Go to Settings > Sound > Reduce Loud Sounds. If it's showing a decibel, adjust the setting.

Customize headphone audio levels on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support -- If you use any of the headphones listed in this article, go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual > Headphones Accommodations and adjust the audio setting.

Change the way music sounds on iPad - Apple Support -- Go to Settings > Music. If EQ is on, see if one of the other settings allows you to adjust the volume. Also, turn off Sound Check if it's on.

Feel free to get back to us with any questions or problems you may have.

All the best.
