IPhone 12 Mushy Volume Buttons

So I’ve been using it for like 1 week, and now my volume buttons are sticky. All of a sudden I can’t feel the tactile click anymore, but they do work. Sometimes they will get back to normal and then get mushy after some time. It’s under warranty and I’m gonna take it for an Apple Store for sure, but we are about to celebrate the new year and I don’t want to go through the celebrations without my phone. Is there any solution that doesn’t ruin the warranty that I could do for now to mitigate the problem?
