Extortion

It's a scam; ignore the message/delete it. They don't have your info. They are trying to scare you into paying.

How do you know they have all your contact info? If you are talking about because they got your email, people get your email address in many ways. If it is someone you know and trust then you can click on the links and files that they attached if it sounds like them. Scammers are out there and they try EVERYTHING to get that information. When you use your email, and when you enter it on websites and things like that, and there are even trackers that get installed on computers that you don't know about that send that information to people. When I get emails like that, I simply (without clicking on anything in the email) put the email in my spam box, and then block it so I never get emails from them again.

That sounds like an email scam. People are constantly trying to get ways of getting information from people or getting them to send them money.
