Bootcamp loading into windows recovery

Hey so I have an iMac and I have Bootcamp partitioned into my computer. But recently every time I try to load into windows I get met with the windows recovery page saying that windows have not loaded correctly and then I after this the only way I can get in is doing a going back to a recovery point which takes an hour to do and then once I go back to mac then if I want to go back to windows the same thing happens every time. I am sure there must be a way to permanently fix this and not do temporary fixes.

What is the year/model of your iMac (do not post the serial number)?

What was the name of the Windows ISO used to install Windows?

I assume it is W10, but need confirmation. What is the version of Windows?

I have the same issue and I do not have anything attached to my MacBook Air 2020. Every option that I try fails. Is there a specific sequence of Repair / Troubleshoot that I should try? Is there a specific Apple repair? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

OP has an iMac of unknown year. You have a 2020 MBA. You may want to start a new discussion to avoid confusion.

I've tried doing a windows recovery scan it took 3 hours and then it worked but only temporarily and the next time I tried going into Mac it does not work. I have an external 2TB hard drive connected and have tried going into windows with it and without it connected both do not seem to work. I even reset windows and unpartitioned and repartitioned using a new ISO file and still get the same problem so I am starting to think this issue is on the mac side.

Does the Windows Recovery successfully complete? Do you have any external devices connected to the Mac?
