Macbook pro won’t update past OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 I am trying to update my laptop to OS X 10.11.4 (or later) so I can use iTunes to update my iPhone 8 with the most recent update. My Macbook Pro is from 2009. What is the best way to update? I don't see anything in my App Store. Thanks!

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and depending on which Mac model you have, download El Capitan, High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina, or Big Sur.
