Moisture in Lightning Bolt

When I plug my iPhone SE, Second Generation, to charge, a lightning bolt appears to Sauvignon its charging. Lately, Iv e been getting a warning, saying there’s moisture in the lightning bolt...disconnect and allow to dry. This may take several hours. I disconnect and it remains this way overnight. No matter how long it “drys out,” it still gives the same message and now it’s stopped charging all together. Help! Thanks in Advance...
