Why are all Apple watches square?
Why are all Apple watches square and not round, wich I prefer as wearable.
Is it a trade mark issue?
The apps fit/appear better on a square platform.

Because that's how apple designed them.
Would that be forever?
Or can one never tell?
If so, I can better change to another brand in stead of waiting...

You can never tell but that shape has been good for apple for 6 series of watches,I'd be very surprised if the shape changes much in the future.
