How to change my region and country

I am having problem from my country and location to purchase apps, actually long time a go I purchased apps from an email which was registered from USA, now my friend send me apple scratch card from Australia and now I am not able to update that amount in my email, it says Only in australia I can use that scratch card, and I was about to change my location but it says I can’t, if I will not update my location I will not be able to buy my needed apps in apps purchase, so plz help me how to solve this problem

Wow, I am out off breath from reading that sentence with only a few commas. ;-)


There could be several reasons why you may not be allowed to change countries, such as ongoing subscriptions or existing Apple ID balance. Note that changing countries is an involved process and is not something you do temporarily. It may involve loss of access to some purchases, etc. It was nice of your friend to send you a card but it isn't intended for overseas gifting. Apple IDs are only intended to be used in a single home country of residence, with all the limitations of whatever is available in that country.
