I have had it with Amazon’s advertising in the FTV UI and Google like data sucking.
Is there a guide to switching from Echo devices to HomePod? I use an Echo Connect and FTV Recast so, will need to replace those too.

if you acquired a HomePod, you would set it up with your Apple ID. It automatically gets added to Apple HomeKit. If you have smart devices, you would add them to HomeKit via the Home App. The HomePod would act as a Hub.

I know all that. I’ve done it with iOS devices. Long ago.
