Lotus Notes Calendar and iPad

Is it possible to sync the Lotus Notes Calendar that my employer makes me use with my iPad? I can't find a program that will help me do that and it makes me crazy. Most of the employees work from PC's, but I actually have an iMAC on my desk so that isn't a part of my problem. I need a software or app recommendation - price matters, but keeping my life in order is worth something to me. Thanks for the help.

Hi, have a look at mnotes. I think they have a solution that might work.... Otherwise. I don't understand why ibm or another company creates an app we can all use.... Millions of users out there.... Could be an interesting market

You don't need to install anything on your device; you need a server in your environment running Lotus Notes Traveler. Does mail/calendar/contacts with iPhone and iPad.

Well I use Companionlink to sync Notes Calendar to and from Google Calendar which it does quite well. You can then sync with Google Calendar through iPad or iPhone.

Companionlink can be set to up and download calendar info to/from Google at regular intervals. (You can also subscribe to Google Calendar in iCal although from what you say I assume you have Notes for Mac - so don't need to.)

We are waiting for Traveller as mentioned in the earlier posting from Lotus but I don't think out IT dept are finding it that easy and, at least, the above provides a quick solo solution.

jadw59, I'd be curious as to what your IT department's issues are? I've installed and configured Traveler a half dozen times in about 20 minutes each. Maybe a version issue?

I'd be curious, too. I am member of an "IT department". Only thing we want, is an agreement, that we can block your device, when we consider it to be stolen. That's legal stuff.
Usually User coming to me to "install" don't even have time to sit down and warm up their seat (there is one) until they're done.

It's possible to sync Lotus calendar with Google or Yahoo! by PIM Syncer first and than sync it with your device. This tool works right on Lotus Notes client or Domino server, therefore it can work on Mac, Linux or Windows. It can sync even automatically. This tool is:

Hello, Ed

I am having a problem with Ipad calendar
If I create a meeting with invitees, I can't change the date and time, neither delete the meeting even if I am the creator.

- I have recently changed account from massimo.marchetti@it.airmbc.com to

massimo.marchetti@bh.atlascopco.com (I hadn't issues before)

- the calendar problems are happening only if I add invitees

- the event remains editable until it doesn't replicate with the server, then it becomes as a 3rd party invitation, not editable.

If you see below, it appears as I am an invitee and I have the buttons, accept, decline, maybe.

Today I have deleted my account and created a new one, but still this is not changing: may you help me?

Dear MamoAP,

I have exactly the same problem.

I cannot change any calendar entry created either via Lotus Notes on my laptop or later on my Ipad / Iphone.

It makes my business life with an Ipad / Iphone miserable and I am already thinking of going back to BlackBerry.

Did someone in this forum reply to you?

No, nobody. Yesterday I got a message from another user, same problem. We teated on another ipad same problem, but here no answers from lotus and apple!
