SSServerErrordomain error 5001

I just purchased an iPad pro 11, and I'm trying to finish the first setup and I'm getting this message. I'm unable to continue and can't use my table. Help?

Congratulations on getting a new iPad! We know it's important to be able to get started, and we're happy to assist. It looks like you're receiving a sign-in error.


Have you been able to complete the process since posting here? If not, have you tried to restart and try again? Restart your iPad


If that doesn't help, are you able to try from a different Wi-Fi network?
