If you're running 10.12 now, I have to assume you have a late 2009 model as opposed to an early 2009 model.


Your machine can go as far as High Sierra, 10.13.6. That's it.

If turbotax requires anything higher than 10.13, it is not going to run on your machine, no matter what you do.
