FCPX imports Panorama Stills as 360°

I'm creating a slideshow using FCPX. Some of the Panorama pictures are imported as 360° format. I tried to find the option to import them as image but couldn't find one. Also, my project is not a 360° project. Does anyone know how to deal with that?

More information, please.

What are the characteristics of these pictures? What is the file format, dimensions, ...

Can you open one in Preview, press command-I and take screenshots?

Better yet, could you post one example of original file that shows the problem, somewhere so we can test?

You could send it to yourself using wetransfer, then post the link here.

That is correct. The image is a stitched panorama taken with a Sony a6000. The project I'm working on is not a 360 project. I never said that. The image becomes a 360 image when importing it. One doesn't even have to import it. Just selecting the image in the import dialog window classifies it as a 360 image. See the thumbnail image in below screenshot.
