How to transfer Apple Watch settings to the new iPhone?

Hi,

So I've stuck on this rather simple task and starting to wonder if it is possible to achieve at all. So I have old iPhone and Apple Watch. Apple Watch was unpaired from old iPhone. Now I've got new iPhone. This iPhone was setup as new without any backups restores from the cloud. It was my decision as I wanted to start from scratch. And I want to pair my Apple Watch with the new iPhone and access my watch backup to be able to restore my watch from it. So my question - is it possible somehow to transfer watch's local settings in this situation at all? I'm talking about configured watch faces, various local watch settings. Or Apple simply didn't think that people may want to setup their phones as new and try to transfer their Apple Watches after that?

Thanks for the post! That's a great question about setting up your Apple Watch. As we understand it, you set up a new iPhone as a brand new device without restoring a backup and want to know if you can restore an Apple Watch backup made using your previous phone. Is that right?

Yeah, you completely confirmed my fears :( It's very sad that such inovative company as Apple simply did not think about such thing. Not everyone restore their phones from backups...
