I have an iPhone 8 and it’s not letting me screen recording

When I try to screen record the message pops up and I can’t do anything about it. I have more then enough storage so I don’t know why it’s not working. I’ve screen recorded before as well it just stopped working when I linked my Apple ID with my new iPad
