MacBook Pro M1 Fans

Is anyone else having a slight issue with the heat in the new MacBook with M1 chip? It’s not terrible, but when I’m playing video games it gets pretty warm and the fan (which is supposedly there) does not kick on. I’m doing all the things to keep it ventilated but it’s still getting warm with no fan kicking on. Is there a way to manually turn on the fans?

I had the same issue, look up Macs fan control and click on the website. There should be a download link for normal MacBooks and then another one still in development for M1 Macbooks. Download it, open it and move to applications. It works fine for me controlling the fans on my M1 MacBook Pro but have been reports of the fan not reigistering on other devices so your chance of success will vary as it is still in development. Please note there is only 1 fan on MacBook Pro which is the right side however M1 MacBook Air has no fan. Hope this helps
