Apple uses the terms Dual SIM and eSIM like this:

1. Using Dual SIM with an eSIM - Using Dual SIM with an eSIM - Apple Support
2. Using Dual SIM with two nano-SIM cards (only available in China regions) - Using Dual SIM with two nano-SIM cards - Apple Support

If you are purchasing from non-Chinese regions, option 1 will apply to you!

It has 1 physical SIM, one built in ESIM.
