Activating launchpad by F4 on M1 Mac

Hello Community,

Recently purchased macbook air on m1, before was using the macbook pro for couple of years. I got used to to using F4 for activating the launchpad in the meantime, however on the new mac it was disbanded. After trying to regulate it in the sys preferences, realised it is not that simple to twick it. Any ideas how to replace F4 functionality back to launching the launchpad?

Best,

Hello vlad4443,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We understand you'd like to use the function key of F4 to open Launchpad on your Mac. We'll be happy to help.

You may need to press the Fn key and F4 to open Launchpad. Here's an article with additional details: Use keyboard function keys on Mac

Kind regards.
