Give Apple Some Feedback:

Do your Part: Let Apple know that they should reveal it. They won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they'll consider including the option in the same window as the cookies.

To Report this:

  1. Go Here: Feedback - Safari - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Proceed from there as necessary

If you have already visited Safari Preferences : Advanced panel, and selected Show Develop menu in menu bar, then you can press option+command+e to clear the browser cache. That does not clear cookies or history though.

If you only want to clear cookies, and not browser history, then visit Safari Preferences : Privacy : Manage Website Data… and remove all, or selected cookies. It is best to do this by launching Safari with the shift key, so no website is loaded when you do this cookie removal, as otherwise, any site whose page is currently loaded in the browser will update its cookie after it is removed.

If you want to remove all cookies and browser history with one action, then choose Safari menu : Clear History… : [ all history].
