It sounds like you're having trouble with your iPhone display. We'll be happy to help advise.

Checking the Invert settings was a great idea. Did you also make sure that your Color Filters setting is disabled in Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Color Filters? If these settings are disabled have you tried restarting the iPhone to see if that helps? Are you running the most recent version of iOS compatible with your device?
