Unable to Return/exchange by January 8th 2021 due to lockdown/apple store closure

Hello,

I have been wanting to return/exchange an In apple store iPhone purchase for another model since late November and all of December.. the return due date is January 8th, However due having to quarantine from Covid exposure then the California stay at home order where now all apple stores are closed..

I just found out you can’t return in stores purchase through mail..

Will I be able to return/exchange once stores reopen past January 8 2021 date.

Use the Contact Support button at the top of this page to reach out to Apple or since you are in the US, call them at: 800-MY-APPLE

I would imagine you can arrange to send your phone to them and they can in turn send out the phone you want. But you'll need to ask them directly.
