Yes my iphone 6s plus charger is lost so used iphone 5s charger

Are you using the Apple provided charger? If yes, do you have another Apple provide charger, e.g. one for an iPad, that you could try?

Is say "may not be supported", not "is not supported". Does it actually charge the phone?
