ipod touch 5th Gen won't go onto the restore screen

Hi I've gone through all the procedures to restore my ipod 5th gen after son disabled it. It won't go to the restore page just to the screen saying it's disabled.

Have you tried everything here? If you forgot the passcode on your iPod touch, or your iPod touch is disabled - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211080
