Shutter Sound

I have the iPhone 7. For my camera and other camera apps (such as snapchat) I can not seem to turn off camera shutter sound. When I switch the mute button, or adjust volume, that does not seem to work. It has that same sound. Is there any way I can turn it off? It is very annoying!

One thing though, under model name, there is a 'J' before the slash / I believe that means it was made in Japan. Does that mean there is absolute no way of turning off the sound??
