Clear the same reminder from all devices

I have set up reminders, but when I mark it completed from one device (say my iphone 7) it doesn't clear it from all my other devices (two mac laptops, apple watch, etc). I have to go through and keep marking completed the same reminder over and over again every time I use a different device. It doesn't matter which device I mark the reminder completed first. It's the same no matter which one is first. Is there a way to when you mark a reminder completed that you only have to do it once and not repeat it being cleared on every single mac device I have?

In my experience, it seems to be that way. I’ll have a reminder notify me on all devices and I’ll have to clear it on my iPhone, iPad, and my Mac. It’s kind of annoying honestly but I wasn’t sure if it was just a glitch or not. Seems to not be. They should add an option so it clears the notification on all the devices.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're running into an issue with your Reminders fully syncing across your devices. If you haven't done to yet, check out the article below, and follow the suggestions here. You may need to disabled and re-enable Reminders, be sure to do this on each device that's affected at the same time.

If your iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders won’t sync

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately it didn't resolve the problem. So, when I mark a reminder complete on one device (iPhone of one of my mac laptops), I still have to mark is complete again on all the other devices. For example, I mark a reminder complete on my iPhone and let's say both laptops are off. When I go to turn on the laptops, all the reminders that have occurred since the last time it was on will notify me of all the reminders it missed. Then I have to go and mark those complete as well. Every single one. Then when I turn on the other laptop, I have to go through this process on that one as well. It's very annoying to have to keep marking the same reminder completed over and over again.

Okay. I finally contacted Apple support and they told me that if you clear a reminder on one device that you'd still have to clear that same reminder from every other apple device. Is this true? I'm not 100% convinced that they gave me correct information. They seem to just be looking to general solutions to common problems and couldn't find this one.

Please let me know if what they told me is correct.
