Multiuser HomePod mini

If I’m a multi user on a mini pod how can I allow another user to use my iPhone to call out while the phone is still connected to the WiFi? Siri recognizes the contact but unable to call out.

From Use multiuser on HomePod - Apple Support:

  • Recognise my Voice: Allows Siri to know your name, access your music library and Apple Music account, use Find My, and control secure HomeKit accessories from HomePod.

Nothing there or in Use HomePod for phone calls - Apple Support suggests that enabling multi-user allows anyone but the primary user to make phone calls via HomePod.
