lost photos

so I broke my iPhone X and sent it to get repaired meanwhile I used my old iPhone 6 so when my phone came back a restored the backup of my iPhone 6 to it and all the photos I already had on my iPhone X were gone. it’s not backed up so how can I get the photos back
