Fitness+ Smart TV

Will the Fitness + work on a TV that comes with an Apple TV built-in or do you have to have the Apple TV hardware?

As it currently stands, you will need to have the Apple TV set-top box with tvOS 14.3 software or later.

The Apple TV app is not used with the Apple Fitness+ subscription. Fitness+ has its own Fitness app.
