I am trying to use my newly purchased Apple TV 4K. So far, my screen is blank. I cannot get any picture or even a menu to come up on my screen. When trying to use airplay to play a movie from the Apple TV app, I still only get a blank screen. Feel like I am missing something. Can someone give me an easy fix to this problem?
A new Apple TV set-to box has to be set up and configured to the user.
Set your TV (and/or HDMI hub AV receiver) to get input fro the HDMI port that the Apple TV is using.
Verify that the status light on the Apple TV is glowing continuously.
When setting up a new Apple TV, the first question is language selection.
Use your Siri Remote or Apple TV Remote with your Apple TV - Apple Support
Press firmly (to an audible click) on the center of the touch surface, to confirm a selection.
