Data transfer issue because of a blank screen!!!

Hi, I broke the screen of my XS Max and it went blank, got myself an iPhone 12 pro max but can't manage to transfer my data from the XS Max. Is there any way I can possibly do it??? I'm so annoyed and sad. Yes, my XS Max has trusted my MacBook in the past.

iPhone data transfer Hi there, I mistakenly tried to fill a hole on the screen with the acrylic. iPhone 8 crashed transfering data to new iPhone 12 Hi, finally decided to upgrade my trusty iPhone 8 Plus to a iPhone 12 Pro. I Used the transfer system which I have used with previous iphones in the past. Unfortunately, the new phone got stuck on transferring data to iPhone for a few hours, so I restarted both devices. Most infuriatingly, my old 8 will not restart correctly and is stuck on black screen with spinning circle. I fear all my data is now lost? Thanks
