i currently have a new ipad and the Apple TV plus said I had a year free subscription and it is making me still pay for it. Is there any way I can fix this issue?

The free year offer has to be redeemed, in order to make use of it. Find “Enjoy 1 Year Free” in the TV app on your new Apple device, to claim the offer. Apple TV+ - One Year Offer - Apple


Once you have the subscription, it will be available on any of your devices that has the Apple TV app, when signed in with your Apple ID account.


The Apple TV+ subscription is for the Channel with Apple Originals. The subscription doesn’t cover other content in the Apple TV app. iTunes Store purchases and other channels will have to be payed for separately.
