A welcoming email with different iPhone model

I recently bought an iPhone 12 Pro Max in Myanmar from MDrive, an apple authorized reseller, but I received a welcoming mail from News@insideapple.apple.com mentioning iPhone 12 pro. Why?? Is it an official email address?? And also, why can I not find Newsstand app in this iPhone 12 Pro Max?
