Howdy,

Signing in with a different Apple ID will not delete existing Apps. You would need to sign in with the Apple ID that purchased the Apps to update them.

It's recommended however that you have one Apple ID for everything and stick to that Apple ID.

Logging in with multiple Apple IDs can create lots of confusion, like the above – not knowing which Apps are purchased with which Apple ID, your iCloud information and data, which passwords to use when, etc.

For example, look at some the places your Apple ID is used.

Where can I use my Apple ID?

These are some of the most widely used services that you access with your Apple ID:

      • App Store & Apple Arcade
      • Apple Books
      • Apple Music & music purchases
      • Apple News
      • Apple Online Store
      • Apple Pay, Apple Card, and Apple Cash
      • Apple Podcasts
      • Apple Retail services and programs (Concierge, Joint Venture, workshops, and youth programs)
      • Apple Store app
      • Apple Support Communities
      • Apple TV, Apple TV+, and Apple TV channels
      • FaceTime
      • Family Sharing
      • Find My
      • Game Center
      • iCloud
      • iMessage
      • iTunes
      • Sign in with Apple

With some of those, you can sign in with different Apple IDs than you use in other places, but you really need to keep them straight if you do.
