Dropped calls and dropped service

My brand new iPhone 12pro max is horrible about dropping calls and service. Im in SWFL in a suburban neighborhood surrounded by towers and I never dropped calls on my 10x max. I've talked with verizon tech support and done everything from powering on and off the antenna to resetting all connection settings. The phone is also completely updated. This is a very expensive unit to not allow me to even get calls done. It appears from online forums this is a known issue. is there a patch or do I need to buy phone from a different company that works. Please help!
