Download it All:

You need to download it all. Avoid the file transfer. Using the new computer, log in to iCloud, and then download it all to it.

Downloading it All:

The maximum storage capacity you can have on iCloud is 2TB. So, if there is not enough storage on your external hard drive, then purchase a new external hard drive. Then, download to it.

I. Avoid Downloading it to your Computer:

Set the hard drive for the download location:

1. Connect: The Hard Drive
2. Open: Safari
3. Go to: Safari menu
4. Select: Preferences
5. Click: General tab
6. Select: The External Hard Drive for the download location

II. Download from iCloud:

1. Open: Safari
2. Go to: icloud.com
3. Click: the Download button (the cloud-with-a-down-arrow icon)
