This did not help at all. This has nothing to do with the USB connection. Error happened when updating OS from 13 to 14.3. I do not have enough memory so I installed it from PC. I cleared up enough memory on iphone 6s (700 mb according to Apple instructions). Install completely failed with error 14 and I had brick on my hand. I cannot reboot it and cannot do anything. Apple instructions and software sucks. The only way I was able to get past error 14 was restoring iphone 6s to factory settings and then restore it from itunes backup. As a benefit it updated my operating system to most resent.
