OSX with a different apple at the startup

Hi everyone,

I have a MacBook Pro with Catalina OSX installed.

At the startup I see at first a small apple and then a bigger one.

Please watch the video at the link:

How can I fix it?

Thanks in advance

Rossano

Boot into Safe Mode by booting with the Shift key held down and check there to see if the problem persists.  Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing the following;

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

Does this affect your work flow ? If so maybe you can explain.

Did you Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc. Reboot as normal to test.
