Connecting a Cricut Explore Air 2

I am trying to connect my new Cricut Explore Air 2 to my desk top and it wants me to update my operating system. Can you help me?

What is the exact model of your Mac and your current version of macOS? You can get this information by clicking on the Apple menu and selecting "About This Mac".

What versions of macOS is supposed to be compatible with the Cricut Explore Air 2?
