How is it disabled? Activation Lock or some other way?

Passcode - If you forgot the passcode for your iPad or your device is disabled.
If an Activation Lock, you need the Apple ID and password that was used to originally set up the iPad.
If this is a used device, you need to contact the previous owner to have them log out of iCloud or go to https://www.icloud.com/find/ and erase the device, then remove it from their account. If you can’t do that, the device is useless. Apple won't unlock it.

It's been disabled completely but it wasn't backed up and the data on it specifically the photos are extremely valuable, I do know the apple ID and password for the device and I have the device logged in another device but it's offline, if I remove it from the apple ID by using find my Iphone will it no longer be disabled?
