Apple ID Email confusion

Help please!

I have changed emails and updated my Apple ID email.

My ID is still showing my old email.

Do I need to sign out of my current ID and re-sign back in with my new email address?

If I do this, what impact will it have on other settings/data on my phone?

If you have changed your ID or password, have you followed the steps in this article?


What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support.      


If you changed the email address and didn't create a new ID, nothing should be affected. If you were syncing data to iCloud, you may have to wait for the data to sync again.
