Brand new Mac Mini - only two displays ?

I have bought a brand new mac mini, but I can only connect 2 displays. I had connectet 3 displays on my older macbook pro. When i connect the 3 displays, only 2 works - Can anyone help me ?

I have triede to change the cable, but nothing works. I have tried to different display ports, but the result is the same. It will only led me connect 2 display at a time.

Did you buy a new Intel Mac Mini or a new M1 Mac Mini? The new M1 Mac Mini is limited to two displays. If you had read through the technical specs before purchase you would have known. The Intel Mac Mini supports three displays but one has to be connected to the HDMI port. Never make assumptions regarding new hardware.


That being said both the M1 Mac Mini and macOS Big Sur are also brand new so we don't know what Apple has planned for future releases.
