No this I new from Apple store, replaced it w/ IPhone 12 pro max. Need this iPhone X for overseas travel.
Then you must ask the carrier to remove their sim lock.
Apple can not do that.
My provider is T-Mobile $ iPhone X is fully paid.
Only T-Mobile can remove their sim lock.
